Way to go Janet!! Looking forward to the future updates to this blog and hopefully will be a part of some of the amazing stories ull be encountering along the way xx
You are mentioned many times my dear!!
Wow! I am so impressed with you. I love to travel as well, but I have kept it to the domestic USA side. Funny, that you leave for South Korea shortly. I am doing the exact same thing for China very soon.
Your story is inspiring. Best of luck to you!
That’s cool that you are going to China. I look forward to reading about your chinese adventures. Thanks for reading my blog, love getting feed back so really appreciate your nice comments.
Janet
I want to be a traveler and journalist like you.
But I know this is not that easy. Becoming a journalist may not be that much tough (I’m already into it), but being a traveler (while not having a lot of money) is definitely tough.
Good that you enjoy your life.
Thanks for your nice comments Sajib. If you put your mind and your heart to it, I’m sure you too could become a Journalist!
Hi,
I really like your blog!
I wondered if you’d be interested in being featured on a Korean Travel Website? Here’s the link to it:
http://www.thesouthkoreatravelguide.com
We started the site as a pilot, with just Gangwon-do, but it’s been so successful that we’re launching version two really soon with information on the whole of Korea.
We’d love to feature some information from you or your blog if you have some you think would be suitable – we would link to you and hopefully increase traffic to your blog also… See http://www.thesouthkoreatravelguide.com/thesouthkoreatravelguide_contribute.html for details on what’s in it for you
Hope you like the website! Look forward to hearing from you!
Claire (site creator)

Wow, that’s an impressive list Janet
I need to make it down to Africa one day and I guess I’ll be bugging you for advice!
Cheers Roy, I will be in contact with you about your amazing life cruising the world!
Looking forward to following your real travels in 2012.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Thanks, I hope I will have some adventures once I finish my masters!
Ok you beat me….nice list….
haha WOOHOO. I will be adding Belgium and Luxembourg in 2 weeks!
Hard to go all over with a motorcycle…unless we take our dream 3 year trip. Might be staying in North America for awhile riding on our bikes until then. Have a great time.
Wow cool! You guys need to read Lois Pryces book…I interviewed her for my Journalism thesis. She went, alone, on her motorbike from London to Capetown, the whole way down through Africa AND from Canada down to Patagonia! Amazing woman! http://janetnewenham.wordpress.com/2010/11/26/international-adventurers-part-2/
I read about her…great stuff….we will one day make the trip from Ireland to South Africa…need to find the time and get bikes over there we think…that would be a long trip…we have grandiose plans…just have to work out the $$ and time away from our jobs. I am just starting a new job so I need to behave for a while before telling them I need time off! LOL
Wow that sounds like an EPIC trip. If you start in Ireland be sure to look me up…although I myself might be back in Africa…where my heart belongs!
Well, dead Janet, i totally envy u:P i wish i could go to Russia, or India, or USA, or Canada, or Australia, New Zeeland, Africa… but i am only 20 and i don’t have money now:D:D Greetings from Romania!!
haha if you are only 20 you have LOTS of time to see the world, just keep saving then make those dreams come true! x
Wow! That’s a long list of countries you have visited! I just read your postings about Australia and New Zealand and will drop by again to read about some of the other places. Good Luck in your studies and thanks for visiting my blog!
Thanks, hope you enjoy the other posts!
wow! You’ve already done so much! What an amazing life you’ve lived so far! I read your “about” as well – you are an inspiration Janet! =0) Peace, L
haha thanks for your lovely comment…I have many more adventures ahead of me!
I admire your list, so exhaustive! But unfortunately you haven’t visited a place heaven meets earth..
I think you should definitely go there one day!
Subhan Zein
You are right…many, many beautiful places in the world left to visit! But I’m only 26…so have all the time and energy in the world!
True! And that’s even better, you’re still 26, you still have the wonderful opportunities to see the marvels of the world! Awesome! With your energy and venturesome, I’m sure you’ll eventually be able to visit all countries listed in the UN…
