Hi Janet, saw you on tbex. Am quite new myself, but always happy to swap tips, links, banter etc. Like you I also write professionally too. Oh and I love your little slingshot fella above! Will take a proper look around look later.

As well as tbex, I can recommend getting active on twitter and facebook’s networked blogs & page set ups. Easy to do and good for interaction.

    Cheers
    Jools :-)

Looking forward to reading more about your rail adventures…my best rail experience was a 3 day trip across central Africa on the Tazara line…a once in a lifetime journay I assure you. :)

Hello Janet, Picked up on your reading my blog about Alzheimer’s and living with it for the past 8 years. Seeing your photo reminds of my granddaughter Liz who just returned from 2 years of travel. She just started a blog, “Journey Through 30,” but felt an urgency to return home for a while. She reminds me of you so much. Tall, blond, beautiful and writes. I tried to share your post on my FB page. Not sure if it went through. Her name is Elizabeth (Liz) Wright, so you’ll know who she is if she contacts you. Best of Luck, Ann Romick

Thanks for sharing your post about living with Alzheimer’s, it is such a difficult illness to come to terms with from my experience with older relatives. I wish your grand daughter all the best with her blog, she’ll be a blogging addict in no time! Thanks fr stopping by and for the lovely comment. x

Hello, I have been following you blog and I like the way you write. I really liked you post “Diversity is the Spice of Life”. I thought it was a well written piece. I also like the photos you use in your posts they look quite professional.

I have been writing on wordpress for a couple of months and I wondered if you would be interested in a link exchange, adding each other to our blog rolls ?

Let me know if you are interested. I will keep reading your posts.

    Have a good Chritsmas, Russell

nice blog, i have been to Ethiopia a few times, being a neighboring country to Somalia my homeland. I think Ethiopia can go a long way in helping it’s self get out of poverty and even many other African countries…how was your trip to Ethiopia?

    i just watched this clip,

Keep up the good work your doing …

    peace,
    Kc

Wow, Somalia is your homeland? That is so interesting. I agree with you about Ethiopia, so much potential and also such and amazing country so rich with history and scientific/historic discovery! I had an amazing trip there, we stayed mostly in the South (Harar, Addis Ababa, Shashemene, Bale Mnts…) so will have to go back again for sure to see the North.

Im going to watch that clip tomorrow when I have more time- thanks so much for sharing. Janet :)
